Energy Consultant
Job Positioning
SunStar Solutions is currently seeking motivated Energy Consultants with experience in building a book of business in order to educate clients about solar solutions that best meet their individual needs. The selected Energy Consultants will ensure the achievement and management of strategic sales targets, and in developing and fulfilling associated client agreements.
We are looking for hard-working and self-motivated sales professionals who have a desire to jumpstart their career and to help homeowners go green, save money, and add equity to their home.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Meet with homeowners to determine their energy usage, costs, savings solutions, wants, and needs.
- Determine optimal financing solutions in order to provide these energy saving upgrades and technologies.
- Define and execute territory/account sales plans for an assigned geographic area and then meet and exceed sales goals (quotas) through prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Educate clients on the benefits of transitioning from traditional energy to renewable energy solutions that are affordable and enduring.
- Network with new and existing customers to generate new leads, and increase revenue.
Qualifications
- Established record of success in sales and marketing
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
- Takes initiative to meet objectives and achieve results
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
- Excellent customer service skills
- Specific knowledge of solar and other renewable energy technologies is not required
